Wuri is a fifteen year old girl who lives near Samuh Beach in Bali. The waves are her best friends. Every day they sing and dance and speak to her.
But one day Wuri learns that she must leave the island and move far away to the big city. Before she goes she returns one last time to say goodbye.
Wuri and the Waves is a story about change, belonging, friendship and finding the courage to deal with life when it moves in unexpected directions.
